Dalton, GA (September 7, 2019) – This morning around 11 a.m., police responded to the scene of a serious motorcycle accident that took place on the Cleveland Highway.
According to authorities, the accident took place between a motor vehicle and a motorcycle at 3451 Cleveland Highway in Whitfield County and led to severe injuries. Medical helicopters were called to assist at the scene of the accident.
Police claim that a woman in her vehicle was pulling out of a parking lot and didn’t look closely, pulling directly in front of the motorcyclist. The injuries to the motorcyclist were severe and they were flown to the hospital for treatment. Their condition is not known at this time.
The investigation into the exact circumstances of the accident is ongoing.
